About IV Therapy

Dehydration can affect how you perform daily, leading to issues with energy levels, mental clarity, headaches, and physical performance. Your hydration levels can also affect your skin quality and your internal organs. During IV therapy, fluids can enter the bloodstream to help you improve your hydration levels more efficiently than simply drinking fluids. (1) IV therapy is a customizable treatment that can improve your well-being. There are several different types of IV therapy you can receive depending on your needs:

  • Crystalloid solutions: These formulas contain tiny molecules that we can easily dissolve, fortifying our body with essential nutrients on a cellular level.
  • Colloids: We can improve your well-being and energy levels with slightly larger molecules and vitamins in the bloodstream.

We can also take a blood sample to analyze your nutrient and vitamin levels to ensure you receive the vitamins your body needs since administering vitamins without a deficiency is not necessarily beneficial. (2) We can adjust your treatment plan to include the necessary vitamins if you have a condition or deficiency we need to address.

Medical Nutraceuticals

Medical nutraceuticals are customizable supplements and nutrient protocols that can fortify your body to improve your energy levels and help support you during your IV therapy. We can discuss the best treatment for your needs during your consultation to help you.

Please come prepared to discuss your lifestyle, medical history, and medications. We will also determine the best type of IV fluid and the amount you need. If you need additional treatments, we can also discuss a personalized plan to help you achieve your goals.

If you are receiving additional weight loss or allergy relief treatments, staying hydrated and ensuring that your body receives proper nutrition is important for the best results. We can perform allergy testing or add healthy coaching to your treatment plan to help you address different health concerns and support you every step of the way. Combining your treatments with IV therapy is an effective way to support your body during medical aesthetic treatments as well. To learn more about our additional procedures, see the blog!

Preparation & Treatment Process

To prepare for IV therapy, you must take good care of your body. You must stay hydrated and rest adequately (7-8 hours). You will also need to stop drinking alcohol for 24 hours before and after since alcohol can affect your metabolism.

We will administer the formula via IV into your arm or hand during your treatment. The nutrients are infused in a sterile solution. We will also cleanse your skin and administer the treatment to a vein. After the treatment, we will monitor you for a few minutes, and when you feel ready, you can return to your routine.

After Your Treatment

After your treatment, you can return to your normal activities immediately. Many patients feel better quickly. The treatment doesn’t require any recovery time. However, you may need additional treatments, or we may recommend that you rest afterward to help your body recover, especially if you are receiving IV therapy to help you recover from surgery.

Corresponding Procedures

Seasonal Allergies

Seasonal allergies can cause inflammation in the body that can increase your risk of developing diseases that affect your long-term quality of life, such as asthma, eczema, Alzheimer’s disease, and heart disease. Inflammation can also affect your mental clarity and cognitive function. Nasal inflammation affects approximately 50 million Americans. (3) However, many individuals are so accustomed to living with allergies that they are unaware they have them, or they have accepted them as a natural part of their daily life. A simple allergy test can improve your body’s tolerance to allergens, reducing inflammation and improving your daily functioning. IV treatments can support your body while you recover from inflammation by helping you maintain proper hydration and receive the nutrients your body needs.

Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative medicine is a collection of treatments that help your body naturally repair itself. Needle-free acupuncture can improve scalp health, increase energy, and support your immune system with nanotechnology that repairs damaged cells. We also offer laser light treatments that can raise your skin’s collagen levels and cellular regenerative therapy, which helps your body produce new, healthy cells. Combining IV therapy with regenerative medicine can help your recovery as your body generates new, healthy cells.

Health Coaching

Health coaching can help you address specific health concerns and goals by supporting healthy lifestyle changes. We can perform comprehensive treatments, including body contouring, concierge HRT, health coaching, concierge medicine, and medical aesthetics, to improve your physical well-being, self-confidence, and mental clarity.
